You can add, edit and remove Chapters freely while building your Story.

Create a Chapter

When you create a Chapter on the Verse platform, it must be part of a Story. Therefore, if this is the first time you’ve used Verse, you’ll first need to create a story.

Once you've created a story, click your story in the dashboard and then press the “Add New Chapter” button in the Chapters Editor.

Upon click, a new modal will appear, presenting you with four chapter options: Video, Slideshow, Pathfinder and Explainer. Choose the type of Chapter you'd like to create by clicking on it.

In the Chapters menu pane, you’ll see a new Chapter appear. For demonstration purposes, we've shown a new Video Chapter in the screenshot below.

Rename a Chapter

If you’d like to change the name of your Video Chapter, simply click the pen icon next to your Chapter's name and type in your new title. Click the X icon to save.

Delete a Chapter

To delete a Chapter, move your mouse over the Chapter you'd like to delete on the sidebar timeline on the left side of the window. An arrow will appear. Click it.

More options will now appear below the Chapter's title. Click on "Delete".

A pop-up window will ask you to confirm. Click “OK.”
